Hi all,
Based on encouraging reports, I decided to venture out. First I birded near the house, and got a FOY Wood Thrush. Later in the morning I dropped by Hughes Hollow briefly, (no Sora)
but saw a Green Heron and heard a little of an Orchard Orioles song. But the real delight was stopping by Reilly's Lock and locating the Yellow-throated Warbler. I've not seen them in a while, so it was nice to relearn this bird's strong song from the tops of the Sycamores.
Three Barred Owls also woke up and hooted back in the woods.
