While birding with Jim Peters at Fort McHenry this morning (4/27) we had a male Blackpoll Warbler along the marsh. It did not sing while foraged in a 16 foot Black Locust; but it dropped down a couple times to get a better look at us. In 90 minutes we listed the following warblers:
Blackpoll Warbler - 1 male
Yellow Warbler - 2
Hooded Warbler - 1 male
Yellow-rumped Warbler - 1 male
Common Yellowthroat - 3
Northern Waterthrush - 3
Ovenbird - 1 (Jim)
American Redstart - 1
Black-and-white Warbler - 3

Plus...
Blue Grosbeak - 1 male
Orchard Oriole
Baltimore Oriole
White-eyed Vireo
Eastern Kingbird
