A late post: while taking a spring walk in a heavily wooded area, I only
had ten bird species, including HERMIT THRUSH, SWAINSON'S
THRUSH, LOUISIANA WATERTHRUSH (2 or 3), HOODED WARB-
LER and OVENBIRD (3 or 4). Oh, yeah, 16 yellow morels (Morchella
esculenta).
