The highlight of a short morning walk at Glen Artney (Patapsco Valley SP)
was a singing CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER along the road to Lost Lake. Other
FOY's for me here were EASTERN KINGBIRD and INDIGO BUNTING. BALTIMORE ORIOLES
are here in force now, having arrived a couple of days ago along with
WARBLING VIREO.
At lunchtime I made a quick circuit of Milford Mill Park. Best bird there
was a singing BLUE-WINGED WARBLER. I also got a good look at the BARRED OWL
that has been seen by others, perched just across the creek and being
harassed by a couple of Robins.
