Glen Artney and Milford Mill, 4/30

The highlight of a short morning walk at Glen Artney (Patapsco Valley SP)  
was a singing CHESTNUT-SIDED WARBLER along the road to Lost Lake. Other 
FOY's  for me here were EASTERN KINGBIRD and INDIGO BUNTING. BALTIMORE ORIOLES 
are here  in force now, having arrived a couple of days ago along with 
WARBLING  VIREO.
 
At lunchtime I made a quick circuit of Milford Mill Park. Best bird  there 
was a singing BLUE-WINGED WARBLER. I also got a good look at the  BARRED OWL 
that has been seen by others, perched just across the creek and  being 
harassed by a couple of Robins.
