Hi all,
Got out this morning to see resident birds and migrants. I went to Aspen Hill Park in Rockville. Hightlight was a BLACK BILLED CUCKOO feeding low in a wild cherry on tent catapillars. It is already a life bird for me, but I've not seen them in a LONG time anywhere.
I sketched it and took a couple of so/so pictures. Not many warblers today, but did get a singing Magnolia Warbler along the bike trail as well.
