What a lovely morning at Rock Run Mill in Harford (5/7). Headed out to do the annual day before pre-May Count scouting trip (it's kinda like going to work, only nothing like it). Variety was plenty, however numbers were low; some species still MIA. This spring's migration has seemed a little out-of-sync or something - where's my pre-dawn chorus, it's volume has seemed low thus far.
