A reasonably active day. 14-15 warbler species. Blackpolls (5) much more evident today, including 2 having a tambourine duel along the wildflower trail. I found 3 birds today that we didn't find Sunday: Black-Throated Green
(1), Yelow-Throated Vireo (2), and PEEWEE (3)--although a member (Jan) of our Sunday group likely was right when she said she thought she had heard a PeeWee.

Those big gray millipedes were busy on the paths. I also came across a garter snake, which reminds me of the water snake I saw a week or so ago on the trail by the creek at Cromwell: it was beheaded, victim of an ignorant person.
