Hi again,

A quick walk around the yard; I saw and heard a male Yellow Warbler in the maples above the woodpile. Judging from other reports, they must've come through in good numbers last night. The male Indigo Bunting was in the treetops in the back yard, and Baltimore Oriole(s) were singing. An E. Phoebe landed briefly on one of my bluebird boxes (haven't seen or heard it in awhile), a Great Crested Flycatcher put in an appearance, many Barn Swallows were swooping over the long grass in the field next door, splashing dew onto their backs in flight. I tried for something better in that flock, but to no avail. Cedar Waxwings have been seen and heard lately, but not this morning. Hummers are becoming more regular at the feeders. Bluebirds are feeding young in two boxes, taking in food, removing fecal sacs. I think we may have two pair of Bropwn Thrashers nesting (or nest-building).

A Cooper's Hawk made a pass over the yard too.
