Harford: Susquehanna SP (MISSISSIPPI KITE and Willow Flycatcher)

In addition to the wonderful day of birds Lin Just reported from Susquehanna SP - a MISSISSIPPI KITE provided a great leisurely flyover giving great looks around 1:00 p.m.  Present at the time was the Bird-a-thon group of Tim Houghton, Ruth Bergstrom and Kye Jenkins.  The viewing location was in the vicinity of the still present Mourning Warbler (overgrown field behind the picnic area).  Also calling  - a WILLOW FLYCATCHER at this same location.

Back home - a Common Nighthawk was perched on a tree branch in the yard.  Quite a sleepy guy.
