Hi all --

Bit of a slow start as it was cool and cloudy this morning, but we
persevered and tallied a fair number of interesting birds, doing the Gardens
per se, Pine lake and also, pond at Nature Ctr -- the latter being very
active at about 8 AM:

Red-shouldered Hawk - 1
SOLITARY SANDPIPER - 5
Ruby-throated Hummingbird - 4
Acadian Flycatcher - 2
Eastern Phoebe - 1
Great Crested FC - 1
Eastern Wood-pewee - 4
Red-eyed Vireo - 5
Ruby-crowned Kinglet - 1
Blue-gray Gnatcatcher - 3
Swainson's Thrush - 4
Wood Thrush - 6-8 (probably all local breeders)
Cedar Waxwing - 25+
Blackpoll W. - 6
Black-throated Blue W. - 2
Chestnut-sided W. - 1
Magnolia W. - 1
Myrtle W. - 1
Ovenbird - 8 (prob. local breeders)
Northern Waterthrush - 2
Am. Redstart - 2
No. Parula - 6
Yellow W. - 1
Common Yellowthroat - 2
Baltimore Oriole - 8
Eastern Towhee - 5
Chipping Sparrow - 8

Plus the usual suspects...
