A quick trip to the Lincoln Memorial and the Reflecting Pool found many shorebirds, including
   A couple dozen Least Sandpipers
   A few Semipalmated Sandpipers
A White-rumped Sandpiper (new for my DC Area and Mall lists!!!)
   A Lesser Yellowlegs
   2 Semipalmated Plovers
   A few Killdeer

HOWEVER: National Park personnel and tractors were busy working on the east end of the empty pool, and the birds were all on the west end. The Constitution Gardens Pool is almost refilled, and I found no shorebirds there.

The bonanza may be coming to an end (though my understanding is that there is work scheduled for the Reflecting Pool, and it may be empty for a while. Does anyone have current info on this?)
