This report is provided on behalf of Steve Ford of Easton, a member of the
Talbot County Chapter of MOS.

 

Steve phoned me a little while ago, since his computer and mine seem to have
decided to stop cooperating.

 

Around 8 this morning a beautiful breeding plumage American Avocet was
standing on the mud flats of Tanyard Marsh beside Rte 331 (Dover Road).  The
bird was not present at noon, but the tide was much higher at that time.
This evening as the tide goes down would probably be the time to check on
this excellent Caroline County bird.
