Hi All,
I went out to try to get photo of the large green parrot at the park by my house this morning so i could be sure of the type of parrot it was that i was reporting to the parrot people . There were 2 young woman at the pond catching tadpoles for school project . I asked them if they happen to see a green parrot flying around . They knew way more about the parrot than i did . The one lady says it was a parrot that she inherited when a aunt that had died over 10 years ago and she couldnt take care of it so she gave it to her animal loving neighbor and he lets it stay outside. She says its been out in the neighborhood for 10 years. They dont worry that he cant take care of himself as he is an aggressive bird . Seems hes doing fine in the wild and has a home ! Sure glad i no longer have to worry about this bird. See ebird list below for the park birds.
