Leo Weignant called me just a moment ago to report a MARBLED GODWIT
just behind Hoopers (across from Skimmer Island) feeding on the flats.
Based on his description, it sounds like the bird is close to 50 and
the restaurant. Sounds like a well-behaved bird, offering up such
nice looks.

Also present: a dozen or more RED KNOTS and a few BLACK SKIMMER.

I mentioned to Leo yo perhaps start scouring through the terns for an
Arctic, Sandwich or Roseate. I'll await his next call.

So, if you want to see a MRBLED GODWIT, you'll have to GOWIT the rest
of Maryland and drive (sit in traffic) to the beach.

Happy Memorial Day Weekend Birding All!
