This afternoon  I tried a search in QA County and Caroline County  for Dickcissel and had only luck finding a singing male in Caroline county  on East Cherry Lane  northeast of Ridgely and  northwest of Greensboro  Maryland  Delorme map 51  4 B and about one mile  west of the intersection of cedar  lane . Latter on I went up north of Sudlersville on Rt 313 to the wet field that has hosted many shorebirds this spring  and had three  Glossy Ibis in the nearly dried out field . Highlights below .
