   Birds seen on 6/10 in the Carroll County grasslands: 



Red-headed Woodpecker  2 adults carrying food to a tree cavity on  Teeter Road where it crosses Piney Creek & 1 seen on Bowers Road just west of Walnut Grove Road 

Horned Lark  2 on Sixes Bridge Road just east of Keysville Rd 

Vesper Sparrow  2 or more on Baptist Road at their usual spot a half mile or so south of Harney, heard on Sixes Bridge Road 

Grasshopper Sparrow  3 singing, carrying food on Baumgardner Road S just south of Bull Frog Rd 

Blue Grosbeak  1 heard singing on Bull Frog Rd a quarter mile east of Baumgardner and again on Basumgardner Rd S a couple hundred yards south of Bull Frog 

Dickcissel  5 sites, 2 singing on Bull Frog Rd a quarter mile east of Baumgardner, 1 carrying food on Baumgardner Rd S just south of Bull Frog, 1 singing on Sixes Bridge Rd just east of Keysville Rd, 1 singing on Keysville-Bruceville Rd a half mile south of Keysville, and 1 singing on Sharrett Road midway between Rt.194 and Crouse Mill Road. 

Bobolink - at least 1 female and two males on Keysville-Bruceville Road a half mile south of Keysville 



In the afternoon at Morgan Run NEA both Blue-winged Warbler and Yellow-breasted Chat were closely observed.
