Hi everyone,

Last evening I got a message from Dan Small that said a co-worker of
Jarred Parks had found a pair of Sandhill Cranes on Bens Point Road in
Queen Anne's County near Church Hill. An unsuccessful evening chase
ensued with my only consolation being four calling Marsh Wrens at the
Island Creek Road marshes.

John Hubbell and myself checked the road this morning and were
rewarded with the pair of cranes. The birds were located near the
last house before the woods starts on the south side of the road
around 8:40am. The birds soon disappeared down a hill and were not
seen again (that I know of).

John and I also two Seaside Sparrows at Horseheads.
