We think that you would learn a lot and enjoy the Field Day.  It's just off Rte U.S.15,   3.5 miles north of I-64.

It's a nice setting and great bird habitat. Also there will be Bluebird information and a question and answer time

                  16th ANNUAL PURPLE MARTIN FIELD DAY    between Gordonsville and Zion Crossroads            Free 
The 16th Annual Purple Martin Field Day is set for Saturday June 26 this year at the farm of Merle & Lance Wood in Louisa County. From 10:00 am until 1pm you can learn how to establish a colony of Purple Martins, including information on housing requirements and protection devices. There will also be a short nesting box trail tour, featuring occupied nest boxes for many different species of birds.

The farm is located near the intersection of US 15 and Route 640 and you will see signs directing you to the Purple Martin Field Day.
             As always it will be educational and fun.  The event is free and door prizes will be awarded.
