Do NOT patronize Cabela's. They have been sponsoring predator derbies out
west that offer bounties for Gray Wolves. Just at the point that wolves
were finally reestablishing themselves in the Rockies, their ESA protection
was pulled, resulting on open season. In case none of you have ever heard
of this, the return of wolves to the west has resulted in the remarkable
spring back of vegetation along stream beds, as the elk no longer hang
around the watercourses, where they're easy pickings for wolves. And what
does that result in? More habitat for endangered southwestern Willow
Flycatchers and other birds. Cabela's is SPONSORING the irresponsible
killing of wolves in the west. I no longer patronize Cabela's and have so
informed them.

Subject: [MDOSPREY] Binoculars-Steiner

Hi all,

I thought I 'chirp in' about the binoculars. My vision has never been good;
(wore glasses since 4th grade) and is changing every year. I used Bushnell
for years and years, but last year for my birthday got Steiner bins 10X42
power. I've been very pleased with them, the glass is clear, and the focus
knob very steady. Their weight is about on par with the Swaroski. Built very
well, picked them up on sale at Cabela's.
