Hi, all -

This was pretty sad. When I was driving to work this morning about 5:45, a crow was chasing a Barred Owl across Rt 29. The owl flew right into the white side of a truck, bounced off, and fell dead into the middle lane. I passed the truck and could see a slight reflection of trees along the shiny white side - I'm thinking the owl just didn't see it given the combination of slight reflection and the gray day.
