   It is with great saddness that I tell the news of the doomed Parkwood YCNH nest. Yesterday, I strolled up the street and checked on them.  The parents were not present, but there were at least 3 young birds hunkered down in the nest.  This morning when I went up to water a neighbors plants I noticed feathers everywhere on the grassy island, and one of the adults was dead, the flesh from it's neck and body eatten away and feathers plucked.  Sounds to me like a hawk or Owl got a quick meal  and wasn't able to finish. None of the young birds were there, they might have been taken as well.
Was hoping for nesting sucess, but not this year.
