This morning (7/2) I visited areas in NE Frederick and adjacent Carroll Counties. Birds of note were:

Bald Eagle- 1 adult flying south over Sixes Road just north of intersection with Sixes Bridge 

Red-headed Woodpecker- 1 adult on Creamery Road near farmhouse just south of Toms Run and 1 adult in woodlot along South Keysville Road just north of Sixes Bridge Road

Dickcissel- 1 male along Sharrett Road north side in small tree at edge of a weedy field just east of Route 194

Vesper Sparrow- 1 along Bridgeport Road where road parallels a small brook and 1 along Gregg Road about halfway between Bridgeport and Keysville Roads
