Six birders were at the Elkton park this morning looking for the crane, but
had no luck. We searched all of Marina Park, the Eder Park ballfields, and
the fish hatchery. We did see a Great Egret, two Cattle Egrets and a Little
Blue Heron, as well as two female Ospreys being courted by a male with a
fish. He tried both females twice with no luck, and then the first one he
approached finally accepted the fish from him. It wasn't a particularly
large fish.maybe size really does matter.

 

In the first big field south of Elkton along rt. 213 were two more Cattle
Egrets.
