I was at Brown Station Road pond this morning. While there I ran into Jim Moore, who had earlier seen a Stilt Sandpiper still with some breeding plumage. Unfortunately I was unable to relocate it. Other shorebirds I saw were Least and Solitary Sandpipers, Lesser Yellowlegs, and Killdeer. There were dozens of Black Vultures, most of them on the muddy shore, some Mallards and Canada Geese, and a Belted Kingfisher. Nothing I heard sounded like a Dickcissel.
