The bird is still around just not at the same location. It was relocated
around 12:30. Heading North from the traffic circle on RT 66 there is a
pond immediately to the left. The bird is there! Usually being seen in the
area of the stream to the left of the actual pond. Its a wooded and brushy
area so it's hard to pick out the bird but it was there walking around near
some Canada Geese. There was also a Great Egret in the area.

Jim Green called me at 12:15 pm to say the White Ibis was not being seen.
Birders looked unsuccessfully for it from 11:30 am to noon.

Jim Green just called to report finding an immature White Ibis in Washington
County. The location is the shorebird spot which was popular this spring.
The location is off the east side of Route 66 at the farm lane (10807) just
north of Horseshoe Lane and about 2.5 miles north of I-70. There is parking
for one or two cars at the beginning of the lane. Park and walk down the
lane to the pond where Jim saw the ibis.
