This morning at 7:40 I found TWO Tricolored Herons perched in a pair of dead
trees on the P.G. side of Patuxent River. They sat until 7:53 when one, then
the other flew south toward Selby Landing. The Red-headed Woodpecker was in the
dead trees just north of the canoe camp, and a Northern Mockingbird ( a very
unusual species from my bucket ) made a long southbound flight toward Selby.
