The Sandhill Crane is still in Elkton. I have viewed it fly 3 different times. I doesn't seem to have a problem getting airbourne. I did notice last weekend it hobbled a bit before take off as it ran to get a start up. It was certainly more fearfull of me than it had been in the past.

I was also contacted by someone in Exton PA who has found another Sandhill Crane up there which is only about 50 minutes away from Cecil. I think it is just a interesting Crane year.
