I arrived at the Recyling Center this morning about 8:15. There was a lone Great Egret but after about 10 minutes many more had arrived. I counted about 37 before many of them flew off.

The IMMATURE BLUE HERON was also there as was the PECTORAL SANDPIPER. Other birds included SEMI-PALMATED SANDPIPERS, KILLDEER AND GREAT BLUE HERON. I was unable to find or identify the WESTERN SANDPIPER.

I also found the TRI-COLORED HERON down at Jug Bay.
