I stopped at the mudflats along the Youghiogheny Reservoir
at the end of Old Morgantown Road north of Friendsville
this afternoon and can report the following:
Killdeer--60, at least
Lesser Yellowlegs--1
Least Sandpiper--3
Semipalmated Sandpiper--2
Spotted Sandpiper--3
Great Blue Heron--2
Green Heron--2
Canada Goose--19
Wood Duck--5
Belted Kingfisher--2
Osprey--1, standing in the water
Note: I could only drive about halfway out onto the flats
before the mud got a little moist. You can still walk out to
the end if you don't mind mud on your boots.
