Paid an afternoon visit to Blue Mash today. Pretty good numbers
of shorebirds and variety for an inland location, but nothing
exceptional. Most notable was the large number of Semipalmated
Sandpipers -- 20 (an all-time eBird high count for the county).
(There were also 5 Semi Sands today at Ednor Rd.& Brown Bridge
Rd. on the Howard County side.) Two Semipalmated Plover and the
continuing Pectoral Sandpiper were also nice to see.
