There are two Sandhill Cranes feeding in the soy beans on the corner of Leverage 
and Ewingtown rds in northern QA Co.. These are more than likely the same two 
birds found on Ben's Point Rd. towards the end of June. The birds were 
originally (re)found by the farm manager of Blue Stem farms (the farming 
operation on Chino) Sun the 1st and then re-seen by 4 people who work on the 
farm over the next week. They were seen this morning around 0730 feeding in the 
soy beans and after a little while walked into the corn field across the road 
and disappeared. Maren Gimpel and I have tried several times now and have had no 
luck.
