Dear All 
 
A visit by a birding friend from Thailand prompted an otherwise unlikley visit to RCP this morning.  It was unsurprisingly early seasonish but there were some signs of life on the ridge with Baltimore and Orchard Orioles plus 2 Black and White Warblers and a Black-billed Cuckoo. The Maintenance Yard held a small party of local birds but with a nice Canada Warbler tagging along with them. 
 
So altogether a pleasant morning to open the Fall season.
