For the past couple evenings I have been sitting on the dock at
Kingston Landing on the Choptank River hoping for Black Terns. It has
been quite slow with a few interesting birds. The best being a
Black-crowned Night-Heron that flew out of the marsh directly across
the river from Kinston Landing and settled in the marshes on the
Talbot side of the river south of the landing. Other birds of note
included a Black-bellied Plover that was flew down the river
yesterday. 5 Blue-winged Teal also flew down the Caroline side of the
river this evening.
