Ron Gutberlet called us this morning to say he had found a WILSON'S WARBLER at the American Chestnut Land Trust, Port Republic trails. We quickly went to the location and were pleased to re-find this bird.

We did not find Ron's LEAST FLYCATCHER, PRAIRIE WARBLER, or KENTUCKY WARBLER during our short visit, but did find a COMMON YELLOWTHROAT he had seen, and also a BLUE-WINGED WARBLER, a NORTHERN PARULA, and an AMERICAN REDSTART. Ron also had HOODED WARBLERS, which we had found on a walk there the previous (Friday) evening, when we also observed an OVENBIRD and a few other locals, such as SCARLET TANAGER, WOOD THRUSH, and BLUE GROSBEAK.
