Looking on eBird, it's unusual, but not unprecedented.  There's only one
report for Baltimore county or city from June through August--8/7/06.
Expanding the search to surrounding counties yields three more August
records from late August 2006, 2007, and 1999.  (Thanks to Stan Arnold for
inputting his old sightings from 1999).
