Went previewing for sparrow habitat and was well rewarded with the scrub at West Friendship. A nice flock of CHIPPING SPARROWS 30-40, FIELD, SONG and a single GRASSHOPPER.

Not too many warblers...only a single COMMON YELLOWTHROAT and a BLACK-THROATED BLUE female. A couple BALTIMORE ORIOLES. 

We found the most interesting ?....it was eating a leaf so I assume it was a caterpillar....about the size of a ladybug....very interesting!
