Hey everyone-

After yesterday's dazzling reports of migrant warblers, I too headed to Cromwell Valley this morning at around 7am and stayed until around 10am.  In that time, as mentioned by Georgia, there was disappointingly low bird activity.  The only warblers I saw were American Redstart, Common Yellowthroat, Magnolia Warbler, Nashville Warbler, Blackburnian Warbler, and Ovenbird.  I guess yesterday's plethora of warblers around the state was a one-day thing.

Good birding,

Very lack-luster couple hours at CVP this morning.  Best birds were 2 Redstarts, Warbling, White-eyed & Red-eyed vireos-----
until we returned to the parking lot.  As we approached the parking lot, Dan found two fully mature Bald Eagles circling in the clear blue sky.  We watched them for 5 minutes & showed them to a nearby young family.  A very cheering, mood-lightener after a disappointing walk.
