Getting hard to keep the feeders full around here. Was just sitting out
front and a female Hummer came into the feeder for a bit and then hovered
over the railing and stared at me for a while from a distance of about two
feet. I could have offered my finger for a perch. Not sure what her problem
was but a minute later a young male hovered just over the railing to my left
(opposite side as the feeder). Am I that cute to stare at?

I know they need to fuel up but I'm wondering if I should make diet feed for
them. They're starting get chubby. And so far nobody has been hurt in the
battles, including me.
