I spent about 45 minutes this evening at the Boonsboro WWTP watching the
Red-necked Phalarope on the pond. It was still swimming there when I left at
6:35. Other shorebirds present were 4 Killdeer, one Spotted Sandpiper, one
Solitary Sandpiper, and four Least Sandpipers. Someone asked about previous
records of Red-necked Phalarope for Washingotn County. To the best of my
knowledge there are none.
