Went to Centennial this afternoon just to check for terns, ect. Nothing overly remarkable but sometimes the more "common" birds can make your day. As I was broiling a large group of CHIMNEY SWIFTS descended over the lake. About 50 birds in a loose mass skimmed and swirled over the water dipping into it and making little splashes. It was an amazing sight!

Similar to the amazing 300+ flock of Goldfinch from the other day.
