Ed Patten and I spent a beautiful but very quiet day at Hughes Hollow , the
only warbler we saw was a juvenile male Yellowthroat. What made up for it
was a Yellow-bellied Flycatcher. The bird was foraging in the trees about 30
yards south of the stand of pine trees after you leave the impoundments.
Other birds seen included:

3 Little Blue Herons

Great Egret

Great blue Heron

Redwing Blackbird

Great-crested Flycatcher

Goldfinch

House Finch

Carolina Wren

Bluejay

Catbird

Chimney Swift

Tree Swallow

Possible Red-shouldered Hawk
