Of interest yesterday and today at Oxbow Lake was 4 Northern Shovelers.

Today, one lone Rock Pigeon's flew in over Oxbow Lake. It circled around as if looking for somewhere to land, it landed in the lake for only a moment, took off flying again, and it was gone. Not many Rock Pigeon's visit Oxbow Lake let alone land in it. This seemed rather odd behavior. Didn't get a close enough look to tell if it was banded.
