A few hours of watching in the yard and I lucked out with a RED-HEADED WOODPECKER. A young bird and briefly hung out on the snag with a PILEATED, FLICKER and RED-BELLIED. A HAIRY was nearby so if there had been an early sapsucker around I would have had a woodpecker yard closeout.

Astonishing was another treefrog in my "yard"....extended by my evening walk. Obviously the same type of frog but much more gray. A very lucky day!
