I spent the morning birding at Governor Bridge for the first time. I started
around 7am and the birding was very active until around 9 when it rapidly
died down. I didn't spot anything mind-blowing, but it was still a great
time with about 50 species, 9 of which were warblers. I also had a fleeting
glimpse of something through my bins that struck me immediately as a
Blue-Winged Warbler, but I couldn't relocate the bird to confirm. I stayed
with the same large flock most of the morning, so I'm reporting high counts
at any given time so as not to duplicate.

The highlights (in order of my notes):

Red-Shouldered Hawk 2 (at least; very vocal)
Red-Eyed Vireo 6
White-Eyed Vireo 3
Yellow-Throated Vireo 1 (calling actively)
Ruby-Throated Hummingbird 2
Blue-Gray Gnatcatcher 4
Willow Flycatcher 1
Cedar Waxwing 13
Barn Swallow 1
White-Breasted Nuthatch 1
Scarlet Tanager 1
Pileated Woodpecker 1
Yellow-Billed Cuckoo 1 (seen and heard)
Eastern Phoebe 3
Indigo Bunting 1
Baltimore Oriole 2 (brilliant male, with female)
Eastern Kingbird 2
Black Vulture 1
Brown Thrasher 2
Northern Parula 4
Chestnut-Sided Warbler 3
American Redstart 1
Magnolia Warbler 1
Common Yellowthroat 1
Black-Throated Blue Warbler 1
Blackpoll Warbler 2
Black-and-White Warbler 1
Yellow Warbler 1
