Hi all --
Pretty good day out at Wheaton Regional Park, again in vicinity of Pine Lake
and also the large field just east of the main picnic area/miniature train
tracks. Met Knut Waagan there and couple other birders as well.
It seemed to be a day for Pewees -- they were everywhere! Amongst them a few
Empids, including a bright juvie YELLOW-BELLIED FLYCATCHER. Warbler numbers
were fair, topped by great views of some TENNESEES at ground (and eye)
level. A COMMON NIGHTHAWK flew over in bright sunlight.
