Hi all,

This morning I birded my 'patch' of Rock Creek Park in Aspen Hill for a short time.
The best migrant, besides a few warblers was a nice Swainson's Thrush that stayed perched for a few minutes. Most of the birds were hiding as two noisy Red shouldered Hawks cruised the woods.

Ruby throated Hummingbird  1
Magnolia Warbler 1-2
Chesnut sided Warbler 2
Common Yellowthroat  1
Northern Parula  1 (singing)
American Redstart  2
Red shouldered Hawk  3
Sharp shinned Hawk  1
Black Vulture 2
Turkey Vulture 1
Rufous sided Towhee  1
Gray Catbirds (several)
Carolina Chickadees
Tufted Titmouse
White brst Nuthatch
Northern Flicker
Downy wp
Red bellied wp
Hairy wp
Pileated wp 1
Common Crow
