Matt Tillett and I birded at a couple spots in Garrett County this
morning before I left him. Finzel has been surprisingly slow lately
and today was no exception. Shorebirds were few & far between at the
Youghiogheny Reservoir (and difficult to find in the fog) but we
crossed paths with a nice flock of songbirds just prior to leaving the
area including at least 2 CONNECTICUT WARBLERS. Matt got what looked
like a pretty sharp photo of one of them that I'm hoping will show up
on his Flickr account.
