I had a very early female Gadwall at Schoolhouse Pond this morning, seen both on the water and in flight. Lots of songbirds were working the trees. Highlights included several Palm Warblers, a Magnolia Warbler, Yellow-bellied Flycatcher, Eastern Wood-Pewee, 2 Great Egrets, 2 Green Herons, lots of calling Wood Ducks, 29 flyover Laughing Gulls, and 2 flyover Herring Gulls.
