Hi Everyone, I pulled a Stan Arnold tonight and sat in my car for a yard watch .Common Nighthawk , Life bird number 238 flew through  moms neighborhood . Didnt think this would be where i would finally get to see this bird . I have been to many spots looking for this bird for the last couple years  with no luck . Going to list birds ive gotten since weekend to make my list look exciting .

 Southwest area park 9-6-10 6-7-pm 
Peregrine Falcom  1  while mom and i were eating dinner looking at deer  and sorting thru the starlings and robins spread across the ballfield everything took flight as a hawklike bird flew low across the field headed right for my car. OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO Peregrine falcon !!!! did you see the black hood!!!!!  
First good view of this bird for me and first one seen for mom.
