Hi Everybody: I spent the last 2 days birding on the eastern shore. Most of
Tuesday was spent in Kent County in the Millington WMA and then I birded
several roads in Caroline County looking for migrants. On Tuesday morning I
started in Millington WMA. I had the following warblers at the "graffiti"
bridge on Walnut Tree Road.

American Redstart 2
N. Parula 1
Black & White Warbler 3
Magnolia Warbler 2
Tennessee Warbler 1
Black throated Green Warbler 1
Canada Warbler 1

In Caroline County on Trunk Line Road:

American Redstart 2
Canada Warbler 1
Magnolia Warbler 1
N. Parula 2
Blackburnian Warbler 1

On Lentz Road:

American Redstart 2
Black & White Warbler 2
Magnolia Warbler 1
Prairie Warbler 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 1

The afternoon was spent in Wicomico County. There were none of the
previously reported shorebirds found over the weekend and the stream
crossings that I checked out were unproductive.

On 9/15 I started the day before sunrise at Bayside (Assateague) in
Worcester County and then spent over 90 minutes on the Life of the Forest
Loop Trail. It was a fairly active morning for migrants along with the heron
and egret show of flybys.Highlights included:

Bayside(at the end of Bayside Campground Road)

Great Blue Heron 14
Great Egret 51
Snowy Egret 120

Tri-colored Heron 40
Philadelphia Vireo 1
American Redstart 17
Yellow Warbler 11
Palm Warbler 1 (western)
Bay-breasted Warbler 2

Life of the Forest Trail - things were quiet until I approached the small
pond on the way back to the parking lot and this is where I spent most of my
time:

Red-breasted Nuthatch 5
Brown-headed Nuthatch 3
Veery 1
Swainson's Thrush 2
Philadelphia Vireo 1
Black & White Warbler 5
American Redstart 5
N. Parula 4
Magnolia Warbler 1
Black-throated Blue Warbler 1
Pine Warbler 5
Ovenbird 1
Chestnut-sided Warbler 1
Rose-breasted Grosbeak 2
Baltimore Oriole 1
